When you can set up

Set-up for the 2026 season began Saturday, Aug. 8 at 8 a.m. ET. Anything set up before then was removed.

Where to set up

  • Tailgating is at the vehicle: tents and trailers can't take up a parking space on game day or on a normal workday, or they'll be removed or towed at the owner's expense.
  • The Cooper Drive Tailgate set-up is separate and begins at noon ET on the Friday before home games.
  • Reserved full-service tailgates are available through UK Athletics (Tailgate Packages).

When lots open

  • Set-up for the 2026 season began Saturday, Aug. 8 at 8 a.m. ET. Anything set up before then was removed.
  • After the season, tents, structures and trailers must be gone by Saturday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. ET.

Rules

  • Everything left set up (tents, trailers) has to be tagged with your name, phone number and email. Tags are free at Kroger Field Gate One, or make your own. Untagged items can be removed.
  • Call before you stake: stakes more than 4 inches deep need approval from UK Athletics at (859) 218-3716. The grounds have underground power and water lines. Don't stake next to a tree's base or roots.
  • Permanent structures are not allowed around Kroger Field.
  • Don't block parking spaces.
