Tailgating at Jordan-Hare Stadium

251 South Donahue Drive, Auburn, AL 36849

When you can set up

Tailgating begins at 4 p.m. on Friday. Saving a spot with stakes, ropes, chairs, tents or vehicles before then is not allowed.

Where to set up

  • Tailgating is on grass areas around campus. Grass next to a reserved lot is open to people with a pass for that lot.
  • Tailgate at the Park sells reserved spaces for the whole season, with packages that include tents, tables and chairs: (334) 209-1259.
  • Tailgating around residence halls and in parking decks is not allowed.

When lots open

  • Tailgating begins at 4 p.m. on Friday. Saving a spot with stakes, ropes, chairs, tents or vehicles before then is not allowed.
  • The hayfields open at 3 p.m. Friday and close at 4 p.m. Sunday.
  • Tiger Transit buses run from 4 hours before kickoff (8 a.m. for 11 a.m. games) until 2 hours after.

Rules

  • Tents over 399 square feet, or with stakes 12 inches or longer, need a tent permit: (334) 844-4619. Joined pop-ups need a 12-foot fire lane between tents.
  • Grills stay 50 feet from buildings and out of parking decks. Put charcoal out with water and use the designated containers, not the ground or dumpsters.
  • Generators are not allowed within 50 feet of buildings.
  • No wheeled vehicles or trailers in the grass tailgating areas, and no using university utilities.
  • Amplified sound needs a special permit. Soliciting needs Auburn's written consent.
