Tailgating at FirstBank Stadium

Where to set up

  • Vandyville, on Natchez Trace, Jess Neely Drive and Vanderbilt Place, has about 90 tailgating spaces, food trucks, a kids' zone and live music from the Commodore Court stage (new in 2026). Tent rentals are available.
  • Elsewhere, tailgating is limited to your parking space and can't spill onto sidewalks, roads or bike lanes (no more than 5 feet past the end of the lane line). Tailgating is not allowed in parking garages.
  • Full-service and commercial tailgates go through RevelXP: [email protected].

When lots open

  • Lots open at 7 a.m. for an 11 a.m. kickoff and 8 a.m. for later kickoffs. They close an hour after the game (immediately after for 4 p.m. or later kickoffs).
  • Vandyville tailgating opens 4 hours before kickoff. The Star Walk comes through Vandyville about 2 hours 30 minutes before kickoff.
  • Set-up can't start until the lots open on game day, and everything must come down that day. No space saving.

Rules

  • Pop-up tents can be up to 10 x 10 feet and must use weights, not stakes, and be free of corporate logos. Take your tent fully down before going into the stadium.
  • No cooking in parking structures, under tents or within 25 feet of a campus building. Propane grills can't exceed 20 lbs and charcoal grills must have a cover. Hot coals and ashes can't go in Vanderbilt bins or on the ground.
  • Generators are allowed (electric preferred), under 60 decibels, and not in parking structures.
  • Prohibited: trailers, kegs, fire pits, golf carts and scooters, smoking and vaping on Vanderbilt property, live bands and DJs, and selling food.
  • Keep music at a reasonable volume, with speakers facing your own space.

Shuttles, RVs & getting there

  • RVs and trailers can't park in Vanderbilt garages or Lot 1. RV options: PMC Lot at 2900 West End Ave., or Harris-Hillman School (1706 26th Ave., $100, opens 3 hours before the game, no alcohol).
  • Gold cart ADA shuttles run from when gates open (2 hours before kickoff) until the end of the first quarter, and again from the third quarter until 30 minutes after the game.
