Where to set up

  • The Grove is the heart of Ole Miss tailgating. You can put up your own tent for free or buy a set-up from a vendor.
  • An area in the eastern part of The Grove is reserved for fans who set up their own tent.
  • The Reserved North Plaza Tailgate opens at 7 a.m. on game day. Ole Miss also lists full stadium policies at OleMissGameday.com.

When lots open

  • Friday land grab: The Grove closes to everyone at 5:30 p.m. and opens to the public at 6 p.m. Student groups and university departments set up from 2 to 3 p.m.; vendors set up customers' tents from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Parking operations begin at 7 a.m. on game day (per the 2026 Missouri game primer).

Rules

  • Vendor tent set-ups are charged a fee by Athletics ($150 per 10x10 tent for a single game in 2025).
  • Ole Miss staff do a tent verification check on Friday afternoon (3:30 to 4:45 p.m. in 2025).

Shuttles, RVs & getting there

  • Grove Loop is partly closed to through traffic on game days in 2026 (Jones Hall construction). Pick-ups and drop-offs on the north side of The Grove enter via Jackson Ave and Sorority Row, work like an airport curb: no waiting, no unattended cars, or you're towed.
